Acceptable Use Policy

Effective: Pending

Draft — pending final legal review. This document is provided for transparency and is not yet in force. The binding version will be published here and presented in-app once finalized.

These End-User Terms govern your individual use of Verolith (the “Service”). Your organization has licensed the Service under separate Terms of Service. By logging in or using the Service, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

The canonical, full version is maintained with our other legal documents and finalized with legal counsel before it takes effect. This page is a public summary.

Using the Service

You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your work on behalf of your organization, within the role your administrator assigns. Keep your credentials secure and do not share them. Your actions are recorded in an audit log (who did what, and when) — not the content of your prompts. Chat content is stored when saved chat history is enabled (on by default) or in a provenance session — see below.

You agree not to

  • submit content you have no right to submit, or that infringes others’ rights or violates law;
  • deliberately bypass or disable the Privacy Airlock or other safety/redaction controls, or route sensitive personal or pastoral-care data around them;
  • use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others, or to generate unlawful or deceptive content;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the underlying models or another tenant’s data, or probe tenant isolation;
  • misrepresent AI-generated output as solely human-authored where disclosure is required;
  • upload malware or interfere with the Service; or
  • use connected third-party accounts (e.g., Google Drive, YouTube) in violation of those providers’ terms.

AI output — use with judgment

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or theologically erroneous. Doctrinal-alignment findings, citations, clips, and translations are aids, not authorities — review and verify output before relying on, teaching from, or publishing it.

Privacy & provenance

Prompts are processed through the Privacy Airlock, which reduces but does not guarantee elimination of exposure of sensitive content. Saved chat history is on by default — the Service stores each chat’s Airlock-scrubbed text so you can revisit past conversations; you can turn it off in Settings, and your organization can disable or require it. Separately, provenance/attestation capture is opt-in and user-initiated; a provenance bundle proves AI use and corpus sources consulted through the platform, not that you used no other tools or sources.

Suspension & changes

We or your administrator may suspend or terminate your access, including for violations of these terms. We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes.
